What is the first thing you do when you are born? You BREATHE. Babies are known to breathe abdominally – a type of breathing inscribed in our cellular memory. The baby’s abdomen stretches and contracts naturally with each deep, strong breath. This type of breathing, also called diaphragmatic breathing, also fills the lower part of your lungs, not just the upper one.
